For everyday app changes and troubleshooting, you can also continue directly in your ChatGPT conversation with Build_ selected. We cannot see your conversations unless you voluntarily share details with us.

What helps us investigate

  • Your Windows version and, where relevant, your Python version.
  • A short description of the issue and how to reproduce it.
  • The Build_ ZIP version or project name, if known.
  • A redacted error message, screenshot or LogReport.zip only if it is safe to share.

Safety note: Never email passwords, API keys, access tokens, customer records, medical records, or other sensitive content. Remove these from logs and screenshots before sending.

Common questions

How do I run the downloaded app?

Extract the ZIP to a folder on your Windows computer, then double-click Run.bat. Most downloaded apps need Python 3.10 or newer unless a runtime is bundled in the ZIP.

What do I do after a failed test?

The Windows program may create LogReport.zip beside Run.bat. Upload that ZIP to your Build_ chat or describe the error. A new complete app ZIP can then be produced for testing.

Is my diagnostic ZIP sent to Berrer automatically?

No. The standard Run.bat workflow writes logs locally. Only send a report through ChatGPT or email after reviewing it for confidential information.

Does Build_ need an extra API key or account?

The current Build_ core skill uses the capabilities available inside the ChatGPT environment. It does not ask you to subscribe to a separate Berrer backend service or provide a Berrer API key. Apps you choose to build can have different requirements.

Can Berrer see my ChatGPT projects?

No automatic access is provided to Berrer through the standard plugin workflow. ChatGPT activity is processed by OpenAI under its own policies. Berrer receives material only if you directly contact us or voluntarily share it.
