What the Build_ plugin does with information, what Berrer receives, and what stays with other services.

Effective and last updated: 25 October 2026

1. Who operates Build_

Build_ is an independently developed, skills-based plugin published under the Berrer name. Berrer is the point of contact for privacy questions about the plugin and this website.

This policy covers the Build_ plugin, the Build_ information pages, and direct support communications with Berrer. It does not replace OpenAI's policies for ChatGPT, Cloudflare's policies for this website, or the privacy policies of any independent services a user chooses to add to an app they generate.

2. Information handled

Build_ requests inside ChatGPT

When you use Build_, the prompts, files, project specifications, and diagnostic ZIPs you submit to your ChatGPT conversation are handled inside ChatGPT and its provided execution environment. The current Build_ package does not operate a separate Berrer server, request your own API key for its core workflow, or automatically transmit your chat content or project attachments to Berrer.

OpenAI processes ChatGPT activity under its own policies and account controls. Berrer does not get automatic access to your ChatGPT account or conversations merely because you use Build_.

Downloaded Windows apps and diagnostics

Build_ creates ZIP packages for you to download and test. The packaged app may save data and create a local LogReport.zip on your Windows computer. Build_'s standard launcher does not automatically upload this report to Berrer. You decide whether to submit a report in ChatGPT or email files to us. Apps that you request with external integrations may exchange data with those services; review each generated app before enabling integrations.

Emails you send Berrer

If you contact berrergates@gmail.com, Berrer receives your email address, the name and contents of the message, and any logs, screenshots or files you voluntarily attach. We do not ask you to send passwords, authentication tokens, payment-card details, government identifiers or medical records.

Visits to this website

This is a static website without a Berrer-operated account system, contact form, advertising pixels or first-party analytics script. Cloudflare hosts the pages and may handle IP addresses, browser and request metadata, security events and essential technical cookies as needed to deliver and protect the site. Berrer does not currently keep a separate visitor-profile database.

Important: Please remove confidential data and credentials before sharing diagnostic ZIPs, screenshots, or example projects in support messages.

3. Why information is used

We use messages voluntarily sent to us to respond to support requests, investigate reported issues and improve Build_. We use technical website delivery/security processing to make these information pages available and protect them from abuse. We do not sell user information or use support emails for advertising.

Where UK data-protection law applies, these limited activities are generally carried out on the basis of legitimate interests in providing support, operating a secure website and improving our software, or to respond to a specific service request. Other legal obligations may apply where required by law.

4. Recipients and other providers

  • OpenAI / ChatGPT: handles prompts, files and model interactions within your ChatGPT account. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
  • Google / Gmail: handles email communications voluntarily sent to our Gmail support address, including attachments, under Google's applicable services and privacy terms.
  • Cloudflare: delivers these static pages and processes necessary network/security data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not disclose support messages to unrelated third parties unless necessary to provide requested support with an appropriate service provider, to comply with law or to protect rights and security. The listed providers may process information in different countries under their applicable safeguards and policies.

5. Retention and your controls

  • ChatGPT conversations and uploads: controlled by OpenAI's retention practices and your ChatGPT settings, not a separate Berrer retention system.
  • Downloaded apps and local files: retained on your own device until you choose to remove them, unless an app you explicitly build has other storage functions.
  • Support email and voluntarily sent attachments: kept only as long as needed to handle the request, normally no more than 12 months after our last support exchange, unless a legal or security reason requires longer.
  • Website technical data: Cloudflare may retain network and security records according to its service settings and policies. We do not currently export a separate long-term visitor log or run our own analytics database.

You can stop using Build_ at any time. To manage information stored in ChatGPT, use your ChatGPT account's privacy and conversation controls; requests about information you emailed directly to Berrer should be sent to the support address below.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may ask about, access, correct or delete personal information held by Berrer, and request restriction of processing or object to certain uses. Contact us by email and describe your request. We may need reasonable verification before taking action. Rights may be subject to lawful exceptions.

For UK data-protection concerns you may also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For ChatGPT account information, please use OpenAI's privacy controls or contact OpenAI directly.

7. Contact and policy updates

For privacy questions, requests or support relating to Build_, email berrergates@gmail.com.

We may revise this notice if Build_'s features, hosting or data-handling practices change. We will update the effective date on this page when we do.
